Moving Colors of Life is a public dance work and a collaboration.
Local artists contributed as leaders, choreographers, performers, and composers.
Dancers and audience members traveled in succession to five sites: three grocery stores and two restaurants along Dudley Street, in Boston, Massachusetts. Each piece was performed in a business while it continued to operate without interruption, using real time to add a layer of aesthetic dialogue in each central public meeting place.
Moving Colors of Life was created and performed in 2015 during 14 months as Artist in Residence for Dudley Street, under the auspices of the Fairmount Cultural Corridor.
